If you are looking for a more traditional shoe then you should give their Game Changer Pro model a look. I actually prefer to be less connected to the ground. I’m not a golfer that needs deep spikes in my shoes.
My golf course is extremely hilly, and can be physically taxing, so this is a huge benefit to me.Īside from the comfort, I am completely satisfied with the grip these shoes offer as well. I actually think to myself during the round how comfortable they are, and my feet don’t hurt at all afterwards. I’ve now played five rounds with my TRUE Motions, and I absolutely love them. I can’t say I’ve ever had that happen before with any kind of shoe or sneaker. The most surprising part is that when you wear them the first time, they feel like they have been broken in already. These shoes are like a lightweight slipper that is lined with the softest pillow you have ever slept on. I think the TRUE Motions might have one-upped them on comfort, and that’s saying a lot.

I have been a loyal customer of the New Balance 990 series for more than 15 years because they make me feel like I am walking on a cloud. These are not only the most comfortable golf shoes I’ve ever worn, they might be the most comfortable sneakers I’ve ever worn. Are these shoes comfortable, and are they worth your money? Overall, I think they’ve done a great job of designing a shoe that looks different, but is still tasteful and stylish. Traditional golf apparel has always felt stale to me, and personally I want to get away from that look. I think it’s great that smaller, more independent companies are sprouting up like TRUE Linkswear. They don’t seem like a traditional golf shoe, which is exactly what I was looking for. Out of the box, I love the way these shoes look.
I’m not a fan of feeling attached to the ground when I swing, and I don’t feel the need for having deeper spikes. I decided on the TRUE Motions because I prefer a more casual look/feel to my shoes. I have been hearing about them for a while now, and I wanted to find out if their shoes were as comfortable as they claimed. I decided it was probably worth investing a little more money in my feet, and I ordered a pair of TRUE Linkswear shoes. The reason their shoes were so inexpensive was because they had not invested in quality material, and it was obvious from the second I teed off. The moral of the story is that you get what you pay for. By the 9th hole I was walking barefoot, and my wife had to meet me with band aids, and another pair of shoes just so I could finish the back 9 (yea she’s awesome). By the 4th hole I had started developing blisters on both of my feet, and I felt like my left foot was stuck in the ground while I was swinging.
